Cow-based natural farming conference on August 23

VIJAYAWADA: Bharatiya Kisan Sangh (BKS) and Cow-based Natural Agriculturalists’ Association are organising a State-level conference at Swaraj Maidan here on August 23 on promotion of cow-based natural farming.
Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu are expected to take part in it as the chief guests.
Announcing this in a press conference here on Friday, organising committee president M. Murali Krishna and general secretary M.C.V. Prasad said scientists having vast expertise in organic farming were also invited to impart knowledge to farmers seeking to shun chemical fertilizer – based agriculture.
Subhash Sharma, noted cow-based agriculture scientist from Maharashtra, seed experts Neeraja Reddy (Karnataka) and Vandana Siva (Delhi) and BKS President (organic farming) Ratanlal Daga (Rajasthan) would be among the resource persons.
The event comprises an exhibition of organic agricultural and food products.
